Why handpoke?

Every Lemmonaki tattoo is handpoked (you may also know it as hand poke or stick and poke). There's no machine, just a needle, ink and a steady hand, placing the design into the skin one dot at a time.

Gentle on the skin
The needle goes in one dot at a time, not thousands of times a minute. Many clients find it hurts less, and the skin is usually less red and swollen afterwards.
Easy healing
Because the skin goes through less, handpoked tattoos usually heal quickly and with little fuss, as long as you follow the aftercare.
A soft, unique look
Handpoke gives lines and shading a delicate, organic texture that a machine can't copy. No two pieces come out exactly alike.
Time to get it right
The slower pace leaves room to talk, adjust details and take breaks. You're part of the process, not just watching it.
